  • DO YOU OFFER FINANCING OF THE POD?
    Yes. However, we still require a 25% deposit payment upon ordering. Please contact the team if you would like to know more.
  • CAN I INSURE THE OFFICE POD?
    Yes, definitely you can. There are a couple of options. First find out if you can add garden office to your current home insurance policy (if you got one). If you do not have one, not to worry. We have a trusted insurance company, which will be more than happy to insure Terra Deluxe Office Pods for domestic and commercial purposes.
  • WHAT’S INCLUDED IN THE PRICE?
    The price of the Office Pod includes external cladding, insulated walls, windows and doors, electrical sockets and switches, lighting, Bluetooth music system, ventilation etc. Then there are also included custom built-in furniture and appliances. Everything apart from groundworks, delivery, unloading and connection on the site is included.
  • HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN WORK IN A POD?
    Depending on the Office Pod model, it can accommodate from one to two working stations. In terms of the number of people willing to fit in, it depends on how you anticipate utilising Office Pod.
  • CAN I SEE THE OFFICE POD BEFORE BUYING?
    Yes, of course. We encourage you to visit us and view Office Pods at our showground.
  • DOES THE POD LOCK UP SECURELY?
    Yes, we offer a secure lock for the Pod.
  • CAN I INSTALL HEATING/ AIR CONDITIONING UNIT INTO THE OFFICE POD?
    Our Office Pods come with an electric fan heaters. However, after Pod delivery and installation you can always install heating/air conditioning unit of your choice.
  • WHAT IF I NEED A PLANNING PERMISSION?
    Planning permission is not normally required as our buildings fall under permitted development (built under 2.5m high externally). Most houses, even in conservation areas and areas of outstanding natural beauty (AONB), have permitted development rights. Flats and listed buildings have no permitted development rights, so will always need planning permission. However, if it actually is required, then we will recommend you a planning expert who will be able to handle your application hassle free from start to finish.
  • DO I NEED A PLANNING PERMISSION FOR THE GARDEN ROOM?
    Garden buildings do not require planning permissions, if they fall within permitted development guidelines. To classify as an ‘outbuilding’ under permitted development rules, it must not contain sleeping accommodation and must be a single storey building with a maximum height of: 2.5m - flat roof 3 m - sloped roof 4 m - pitched roof There are a few other restrictions listed below.
  • HOW BIG CAN I BUILD A GARDEN ROOM WITHOUT PLANNING PERMISSION?
    MAXIMUM HEIGHT: The eaves height would be limited to 2.5m. The maximum overall height depends on the roof shape – four metres for a dual pitch and three metres for any other type. However, if the building is within two metres of a boundary, the overall maximum height is restricted to 2.5m. FOOTPRINT: Have you or any previous owners extended the house since 1948? If so, these extensions will eat up your permitted development allowance. Overall, you are not allowed to build on more than half of the land associated with the house without full planning permission. LOCATION: It must not be located forward of the main front wall of the original house. The original house means as it was first built or as it stood on 1 July 1948. No verandas, balconies would be allowed without planning permission and raised decking should be no higher than 300mm.
  • IS THE POD COMPLETELY WEATHER RESISTANT?
    Yes. The Office Pod is completely weather resistant. The materials we use are all waterproof and their abilities to withstand levels of natural forces are similar to that of your standard traditional house structure.
  • WHAT MATERIALS DO YOU USE FOR THE OFFICE POD?
    The wall system is made of the complex structure of steel, wood, insulation foam, bituminous waterproofing cover and exterior waterproofing woods. The pods are featuring stretch ceilings and laminate flooring which both are maintenance free materials. All the materials and structure are sourced produced in Europe.
  • CAN YOU PLEASE CLARIFY THE WARRANTY TERMS?
    Terra Deluxe apply an exceptionally long structural warranty period which is 25 years. This warranty applies to frames of all three Office Pods. The furniture supplied inside the Pod and appliances have a one-year warranty as per manufacturers' terms and conditions.
  • HOW DOES THE POD STAY SECURED TO THE GROUND?
    Office Pod comes with a placement solution that stabilizes the Pod without any additional ground fixtures. This smart framework requires minimal effort and works on all kinds of surfaces: soil, brick, concrete, turmac, gravel, patio, grass area, etc. If you have a very unique landscape you can build a concrete frame for it, or arrange the ground screw solution placement for the Pod. We will be willing to provide you recommendations for various specialists.
  • ARE OFFICE PODS SOUNDPROOF?
    All modules are double glazed, giving you up to 90 % of noise reduction. All three Office Pods come fully preassembled to the agreed specification, therefore it exempts further modifications. However, if you require additional soundproofing, you would have to source it independently.
  • WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ARRANGING A DELIVERY?
    We believe in transparency. Therefore we recommend clients to arrange the delivery themselves. In that way, they are not any uncertainties and the client is in complete control of the situation. We will be willing to provide you with recommendations of trusted delivery companies.
  • WHEN WILL MY OFFICE POD BE SHIPPED OUT?
    All Office pods are available for shipment now. The Office Pod will be ready for collection or shipment as soon as you sign a purchase contract and pay the final remaining balance before shipment.
  • WILL YOU HELP ME PUT THE POD IN THE PLANNED LOCATION AFTER DELIVERY?
    It will be ourselves or the team of unloading specialists provided by the delivery company. Also you can pick up the Pod yourself from our showground.
  • DO I NEED TO PREPARE SITE FOR DELIVERY AND UNLOADING?
    YES, it is absolutely essential for you to prepare the site prior to delivery and unloading.
  • HOW DOES THE OFFICE POD GET POWERED UP?
    All the internal wiring is set up for you during the production process. The Office Pod has a simple port for power connection, so all you need is to supply your Pod with power source from your home. Depending on the Pod, 32amp supply would be adequate. Installation can be surveyed by our electricians on request.
